The initial step toward completion of your original portrait painting by Dottie McHugh is a camera sitting. This can be conducted in my studio with selected furnishings or in your home or garden or from your photos. I will select a number of possible photographic poses and make recommendations to the client.
When it is necessary to travel out-of-town for photo sessions, meetings with a client or delivery of a finished piece, all travel expenses and accommodations are paid for by the client. A final sitting is occasionally required for complete satisfaction. A client list is available upon request.
Frames are not included in pricing. Framing is available when requested. A wide selection of styles is available through me.
From the time of pose approval, portrait completion time is approximately three to six months.

Pricing is for single subject. Additionaly subjects increase pricing by 40% per subject.
